Stephen Ministers are laypeople—Christian men and women—trained to provide one-to-one care to people who a going through a challenging life event such as grief, divorce, job loss, chronic or terminal illness, relocation, or separation due to military deployment.

Stephen Ministers come from all walks of life with a passion for bringing Christ’s love and care to anyone who is going through a time of need.

Kingsland First United Methodist Church Stephen Ministry Program is currently inactive. Please contact us if you would like to be trained to serve as a Stephen Ministry Care Giver, or have previously been trained as a Stephen Minister and would like to serve.
